Hereditary Cancer Group
Research of the Hereditary Cancer Group at IGTP focuses on:
- the genomics and integrative biology analysis of hereditary cancer-associated tumors
- the generation and use of patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) to model cancer syndromes such as Neurofibromatoses
- the development and implementation of genomic techniques for the genetic diagnostics of Neurofibromatoses and related syndromes
- the study of the molecular bases of hereditary cancer pathogenesis
